Fire Testing Laboratoryof Chair of Fire Safety and Civil Protection of Fire Safety and Civil Protection College is founded in 1962.
The Laboratory is the member of Latvian Association of Testing Laboratories (LATLAB) since 1998.
The laboratory is accredited in Latvian National Accreditation Bureau (LATAK). Decision on Accreditation was taken on March 12, 2013. No of Certificate of Accreditation: LATAK – T – 086 – 12 – 2000 – A. Expiry date of the Certificate of Accreditation: March 11, 2018.
Voluntary scope of accreditation: physical testing of fire hazard characteristics of liquids, solid substances and construction products, fire protective means and extinguishing materials.
